On Friday evening, a powerful supercell thunderstorm over northeast Wyoming pushed into west-central, South Dakota bringing a number of storm warnings, strong winds, and one isolated hail report.

The maximum winds reported with this storm occurred about three miles west of Union Center with a storm gust of 71mph. Other reports were... 6 miles northwest of Hereford (65mph), 2 northwest of Downtown Spearfish (62mph), 2 southwest of Saint Onge (58mph), 3 southeast of Downtown Spearfish (57mph), and 1 mile northwest of Nisland (55mph).
The only hail report came in at Vale where nickel size (0.88") was recorded.
The weekend brought much more quiet weather to region.
