Dry conditions and very powerful winds together created some very dangerous fire conditions statewide. In the southwest, South Dakota, fire crews battle a grass fire along Interstate 90.

During Sunday afternoon, Kadoka and Belvidere Fire Departments were dispatched to a grass fire about three miles east of town. Firefighters quickly responded to the scene and worked hard to keep the fire spreading.
In far, northeast corner of South Dakota fire personnel was called to State Highway 10 in Roberts County. Part of the state highway was shutdown as crews battle the fire. According to the Roberts County Sheriff's Office, the highway is open this evening.
