Impacts Felt in the South

The storm system has pushed up precipitation into southern regions this morning and impacts are already being felt.



The South Dakota Department of Transportation is reporting slippery road conditions in the southwest from Rapid City towards Hot Springs and over to Pine Ridge. These conditions can also be found in south-central, South Dakota by the Winner, Wagner, and Platte regions.

A few snowfall reports have already been reported in the west with the highest amounts so far being about eight miles northeast of Hisega with 1.8 inches. The other report came in about 6 miles northeast of Summerset with a half of an inch.
