A mixed bag of wintry precipitation associated with a clipper system has been moving west to east through the morning on Saturday. This band of precipitation has made highways and roads slippery across the region, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

By mid-morning, the narrow band of rain/snow starts down by western Kansas near Garden City and continues northward through Nebraska and into South Dakota from Winner to Murdo, and Pierre.

The precipitation spans even further northward into Mobridge and up into North Dakota from Bismarck and Minot.
