Pheasant Opener (Saturday) looks to be cooler as a cold front passes through South Dakota. Highs will only be into the 50s with a few 40s in the Black Hills.

With the passing of the front, chances of rain may mix with snow for the hills. Rainfall and snow amounts appear to be minor, with snowfall mainly at or below an inch, and rainfall amounts are expected to be primarily a few tenths.

Winds look to be strong out of the northwest with gusts from 35 to 45mph after the front passes.
