The northeast this morning may see isolated showers and thunderstorms moving across the area. Some gusty winds and small hail might be possible with a few of these thunderstorms.
That chance goes away by this afternoon, besides another chance for storms in the far northeast corner of the state. If thunderstorm development does occur, some of these storms may be strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds, and even a tornado.
Then a cold front pushes west to east bringing chances for isolated strong to severe thunderstorms in western, South Dakota later this evening, and into central and eastern, South Dakota during the overnight hours and even into Monday morning.
