Cold Front Pushing in Rain and Cooler Temps

A cold front will be making its way through South Dakota, which will fire off showers and thunderstorms today and into tonight. A few of these storms across the east may become strong to severe with gusty winds and hail later this evening and into the overnight hours.

The three major forecast models are giving the chance of pockets of heavy rain somewhere in the northeast as well.

Still hot today with 80s and 90s as highs, and even a few 100s are possible in central and southwest SD.

A different story for Fridays and temperatures drop to the 70s and 80s with chances for showers and thunderstorms once again.
