A cold front has pushed through the region, bringing windy weather while increasing the grassland fire danger to very high statewide. Northwest winds will be from 15 to 30mph, with gusts up to 45mph. Today's highs will be cooler than yesterday, reaching into the 40s and 50s.
On Sunday, grassland fire danger will remain high to very high with temperatures much colder, only reaching the 30s and 40s under partly cloudy skies. Northwest winds remain from 10 to 25mph with gusts up to 40mph.
