Dense Fog in One Isolated Area

Dense fog has settled in along Interstate 29 in northeast South Dakota over the Sisseton Hills during Wednesday afternoon. Visibilities at times were reduced to a quarter of a mile between the Wilmot Exit and just south of the South Shore Exit.

As you head north near the Peever area on Interstate 29, the conditions significantly improve, with much better visibility. The situation is similar in Watertown, where visibility is good, and the Watertown Airport reported visibility at 10 miles at 12:53pm CDT.
