Foggy Conditions and Slippery Roads Hit Western South Dakota

For the second night in a row, western, South Dakota saw foggy conditions and slippery roads and highways.

On Wednesday morning, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office advised the dense fog had created icy highways including Interstate 90. The agency responded to spin-outs like this near Cactus Flats on Interstate 90.

During Thursday morning, the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) reported widespread scattered slippery spots and reduced visibilities from fog in western, South Dakota.
