Two lines of thunderstorms developed Friday evening, delivering hail, damaging winds, and even a couple of funnel clouds.
In south-central South Dakota, just outside Vivian, a funnel cloud descended and then lifted back up, according to the National Weather Service's storm report. These same thunderstorms also brought quarter-size hail near Kennebec and winds of up to 65mph.
This storm then crossed into the Missouri River, where wind gusts increased, reaching over 86mph about eight miles east of Corsica and 83mph about four miles north of Olivet.

In Potter County in north-central, South Dakota, Emergency Management observed a funnel cloud about four miles north of Agar.
