Light snow and/or light freezing drizzle will start in the southwest later this evening.
This light precipitation will spread eastward over southeast, South Dakota during the evening and overnight hours.
As we move into Tuesday morning, light snow is expected to be mainly over the southeast as it continues its track east.
Snowfall amounts will be the highest across the southeast where one to three inches is expected with some isolated higher amounts. The rest of the state will remain under one inch.
