Nice Saturday Ahead of Stormy Weather

Unseasonably warm for today's forecast, with afternoon temperatures reaching the middle 70s in the Black Hills to the upper 80s in south-central and southeast regions of the state.

An isolated thunderstorm is possible for the southwest, otherwise dry conditions under mostly sunny skies.

South to west winds from 5 to 15mph with some gusts up to 25mph. High fire danger today as a Red Flag Warning is in effect for far eastern regions of southeast South Dakota.

On Monday, a spring-like storm system will bring us back to reality with cooler temperatures and widespread chances of rain. An isolated strong to severe thunderstorm is possible for much of the state. We will have more details on the storm system tomorrow.
