Sunny skies and warmer temperatures from the upper 50s in the northeast to the 70s in the west.
Saturday will be even warmer, with highs from the middle 70s to the middle 80s under mostly sunny skies. An isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out over the Black Hills.
The nice summer-type weather will not last as a storm system will push colder air into the region next week.
