One Inch Size Hail near Plankinton

Thunderstorms have fired up across southeast, South Dakota on Monday afternoon with a few storms becoming strong to severe. One of these storms southwest of Plankinton brought large hail to the size of quarters.
About 12 miles northwest of Harrison in Aurora County, the National Weather Service received a report of quarter size hail (1.00") at around 1:10 pm, Monday afternoon.
Other reports of nickel size (0.88") were reported 7 miles northwest of Harrioson and about 10 miles west of Dimock. This storm also brought winds up to 45 to 50mph.
