Start of July, With Strong Storms?

A few thunderstorms are expected to develop over the west, with some storms becoming strong to severe, posing primary threats of gusty winds and large hail. The best chances for severe thunderstorms will be across southwest South Dakota from the Wall area down towards Kyle, Pine Ridge, and Martin regions.
Then, thunderstorms are expected to develop over the northern part of South Dakota, with a few isolated strong to severe storms, with hail being the main threat, by late tonight. These storms are forecast to move towards the south as we approach Wednesday morning.
