Stormy 4th of July Expected

Continue to watch for thunderstorms in western South Dakota, which will travel eastward with additional development expected later on this afternoon on your 4th of July. Thunderstorms are forecast to continue into the evening and overnight hours. Some isolated thunderstorms could become severe, with damaging winds being the main threat. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, especially with storms that develop on their own and are not part of the main line.
