Sunny skies are forecast for today, with highs in the 50s in the east and mainly the 50s and 60s in the west.

The winds will not be bad across central and eastern SD, remaining under 15mph, but the southern winds will start to kick up for the west, with gusts up to 40mph in the northwest by the afternoon.

Winter Storm Watches are up for part of the Black Hills for Saturday night and Sunday, as heavy snow is possible.
