Winter Returns with Blowing Snow

Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for the central and eastern parts of South Dakota starting later tonight and continuing into Friday. Snow showers are expected to form and move through the region. In addition to the snow, strong northwest winds will accompany the snowfall, causing temporary periods of reduced visibility.

Snowfall accumulations for the most part will be under one inch, but some locations may see a few inches.
