During Friday evening, the Ogala Sioux Tribal Highway Safety and the Alpha One Fire and Rescue were called to a motorcycle accident south of Manderson during a severe thunderstorm.

The Codington County Sheriff's Office reported that heavy rainfall has led to flooding or washouts on several secondary roads. As a result, officials have closed some of these roads.
