More Showers Came on Thursday

Additional showers and thunderstorms resulted in over an inch of rain in parts of Spearfish and the Platte area. Several regions experienced rainfall ranging from a quarter to half an inch as lines of showers and storms moved across the east. Plankinton was among the locations that received half an inch of rain on Thursday. Estelline in northeast South Dakota recorded 0.48 inches, while Dempster and Lake Preston received 0.39 inches.
