As temperatures increased area roads in eastern, South Dakota became frosted over creating slippery conditions for motorists on Monday morning.
According to the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SD DOT), Interstate 29 from Watertown to Sioux Falls was slippery with frost to scattered frost reported. On US Highway 81 from Watertown down through Arlington and into Madison, the same conditions were reported.
