Occasionally, the snow caused travel difficulties due to slippery roads and reduced visibility. The South Dakota Highway Patrol shared this image on their Facebook page on Saturday morning, showing Interstate 29 near the Summit Exit in northeast South Dakota. As you can see, visibility was reduced, and the roads were covered in snow and slippery.

Light snow and flurries lingered for Saturday night and into Sunday morning in the same region, ahead of the next system forecast to bring light rain and a wintry mix for the start of the work week.
