No Sight for Improvements

Looking ahead to the extended forecast, there are really no good signs for drought improvements for the next week. Conditions today look cool, but warmer and drier air looks to move back into the region for the work week.

Looking at the forecast models, the Euro (ECMWF) precipitation forecast looks grim with only pockets of small amounts of precipitation from now until next Saturday.

On the American model (GFS), even the worst outcome appears with no precipitation expected through next Saturday.

Unfortunately, the Candian model (GEM) is also painting the same picture as the EURO model with only pockets of small amounts of precipitation.
