It is hard to believe that snow has fallen in a few locations in South Dakota when temperatures last week were into the 80s and 90s. The Black Hills is no stranger to wild swings in the weather, as the last storm system brought accumulating snow to the start of the work week.

The Black Hills were not the only locations in South Dakota to see snow. On Wednesday morning, the South Dakota Department of Transportation captured light snow in the highway ditches near Eureka in north-central South Dakota.

As this low pressure system slowly moves away from us, temperatures are forecast to increase back to normal as we approach next week.
