Timing could not be any better, as above-normal temperatures are forecast for this late November weekend. This weekend, highs into the 50s and 60s are expected ahead of a storm system that will help open the door to much colder weather for Thanksgiving week.

By Monday, precipitation starts to spread into the region, pushing back temperatures into the 40s and 50s, marking the start of much colder air to come.

On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to drop throughout the day, with raw data from the ECMWF (Euro) weather model showing temperatures only in the 20s for some around noon, central time.

By the start of December, the Euro forecast models are pushing air temperatures into the single digits to the teens below zero.

So get outside and enjoy the nice weather, as winter is coming.
