Wintry Weather Causing Issues on the Highways

Snow has been falling in parts of the western and central regions of South Dakota today, with some amounts up to three inches being reported.

This snow and some wintry mix has created issues on highways on Saturday. Lyman County Sheriff's Office shared these images of motor vehicle crashes on their Facebook pages throughout the day.

The South Dakota Department of Transportation has many highways with slippery road conditions from the state's northeast, north-central, central, south-central, and southwest parts. For the latest reports from the SDDOT, check out their site at sd511.org
