Wintry Travel Already Reported

This morning, already a few locations in the southwest region of the state and into north-central, South Dakota are reporting slippery roads.

Snow has moved into the southwest, South Dakota, and is starting to cover the highways. The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) reported roads near Hot Springs were slippery, snow-covered, and visibility less than one-half mile.

Up in the north-central area of South Dakota, freezing fog has created icy conditions. The SDDOT reported these conditions west of McLaughlin and into the Timber Lake areas and over by Isabel.
