Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are up for counties in northern South Dakota as a low-pressure system moves across the area bringing precipitation and windy conditions.

From Mobridge in north-central South Dakota, all the way to Sisseton in northeast South Dakota, the Department of Transportation has placed a no travel advisory as visibilities drop to near zero and roads have become slippery. This no travel advisory also covers the Aberdeen, Redfield, Faulkton, Webster, and Britton areas. For roads in east-central South Dakota, visibility is not an issue, but the highways had become icy overnight. The Brookings County Sheriff's Office shared on their Facebook page that Interstate 29 between Brookings to Sioux Falls is slick this Wednesday morning, and multiple collisions have occurred.
