Virtual Spotter Talk

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls will host a virtual weather spotter talk on Monday, May 1st.

Last year, many of us experienced severe weather as two derechos and numerous tornadoes hit the state.

Understanding severe weather and how to report what you see to the National Weather Service is part of several topics the weather service will discuss during the hour and a half to two-hour event.

The weather service asks if you would like to participate in the event to register before the class starts at 7:00pm CDT.
