Few More Showers and Storms

As the weekend wraps up and the work week begins, scattered showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast.

On Sunday afternoon, a thunderstorm near the Flandreau and Egan areas intensified enough to become a severe thunderstorm with large hail and gusty winds. The personal weather stations in the area only reported under a quarter of an inch of rain with this storm.

Late Monday morning and into the afternoon, additional showers and storms began to develop across the southwest.

The forecast is calling for spotty showers and thunderstorms to continue, mainly south of Interstate 90. An isolated strong to severe storm cannot be ruled out, with the far southeast corner having the best chance.
