About six miles south of Strandburg in Deuel County, a tornado briefly touchdown. A little later, a storm chaser reported the tornado on the ground for just a few seconds in a series of brief touchdowns about one-mile northeast of La Bolt in Grant County.

In Minnesota, the National Weather Service received multiple photos of a confirmed tornado on the ground about five miles southwest of Louisburg, MN, or a couple of miles north of Madison, MN.
