+60mph Wind Gust in Aberdeen

A Sunday morning severe thunderstorm brought significant wind gusts to the Aberdeen area.

At the Aberdeen Airport, a thunderstorm wind gust of 63mph was recorded shortly after 7:00am CDT, Sunday morning. This caused the National Weather Service to issue a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

This continued eastward, becoming severe once again for hail to the size of quarters and wind gusts up to 60mph for the Webster and Waubay areas.
