More snow is in the forecast for today (Saturday), with Winter Weather Advisories in effect for parts of the southeast and east-central South Dakota for snow accumulations and areas of blowing snow.

By mid-morning through until this evening, winds gusting up to 25-30mph and with falling snow could create areas of blowing snow and reduce visibility.

Generally, two to four inches of snow is expected in the advisory areas, with higher amounts of three to five inches towards the Flandreau, Sioux Falls, and Canton areas. Would not be surprised if a few isolated areas received a little more in that region.
