Dry conditions continue for parts of South Dakota, as several fire crews have responded to a grass fire. The Rosebud Sioux Tribe Volunteer Fire Department assisted the Norris Volunteer Fire Department and the BIA Fire Management teams in responding to a grass fire on Saturday.

Rosebud's Engine 5 and Engine 4 helped the fire north of Parmelee, South Dakota in southwest, South Dakota.
According to the latest drought report, released on Thursday, parts of the area remain in the abnormally dry category.

Looking ahead, not much looks to come until maybe Thanksgiving weekend. The GFS (American) forecast model has the southwest corner of the state dry through Friday morning. The ECMWF (Euro) forecast model is sharing about the same outcome with the 00z runs on Sunday morning.
