A line of severe thunderstorms that went through the northern Black Hills brought large hail on Monday evening.
Hen egg size hail (2.00") dropped about three miles southeast of Cheyenne Crossing in Lawrence County. Also, in Lawrence County, quarter-size hail (1.00") fell within the cities of Spearfish and Deadwood.
