Within the city of Rapid City, a couple of reports of half dollar size hail came in north of downtown. Johnson Siding, Black Hawk, Box Elder, and Hermosa had reports of quarter-size hail or 1.00 inches.

Later that evening, a thunderstorm in Tripp County, or 11 miles northwest of Witten, dropped quarter-size hail.
