Thunderstorms blossomed across western South Dakota once again on Tuesday, with a couple of them becoming severe.

The largest hail was reported about five miles north of Scenic in west-central South Dakota, where golf ball size (1.75") hail was reported. Hail to the size of a half dollar was recorded about 14 miles northeast of Rockyford, and hail a little bit larger than quarters dropped about seven miles southwest of the Rapid City Airport.
