Warmer weather returns to South Dakota after having a taste of fall with cooler temperatures. Forecast highs for Monday look to be the coolest across far eastern South Dakota, where some locations may only reach the mid-70s. The 80s will be found much of central and western South Dakota, but a few 90s may pop up in the southwest.

This is just a preview, as similar conditions are expected on Tuesday, with temperatures in the mid-70s along Interstate 29, the 80s in central and western South Dakota, and a few isolated 90s in the southwest.

Conditions are expected to be dry both days, except for isolated thunderstorms possible in the far southwest region of the state on Tuesday.
