Street Closure Due to Storm Damage

Officials closed a street in Huron, South Dakota, due to damage caused by thunderstorms that passed through the area Friday night.

During the early morning hours on Saturday, the Huron Police Department closed 15th Street SW from Minnesota Avenue to Lincoln Avenue due to a damaged power pole and power line caused by the overnight thunderstorms. The power company was dispatched to the scene, and the street was once again opened.
