A weather system continues to pump showers and occasional thunderstorms up and over the low pressure in south-central South Dakota.

A complex of thunderstorms traveling along the Missouri River on Sunday afternoon eventually produced a tornado near Mobridge, South Dakota, causing damage.

A couple of storms in South Dakota and North Dakota on Sunday afternoon may become severe with hail, gusty winds, and even a few tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorms are possible for South Dakota this weekend as summer-like weather remains for some.
