Severe thunderstorms impact different parts of South Dakota on Sunday.

As July begins, active weather persists with strong to severe thunderstorms bringing large hail from the Black Hills to the plains of southwestern South Dakota.

The National Weather Service survey team has been in Deuel County and reported four tornadoes within the county on Saturday.

Several tornadoes, including strong ones, developed on Saturday evening in Deuel County, northeast South Dakota.
